Founded in 2019, Highline Wellness has been innovating since the beginning. It started with just three products (CBD gummies, CBD oil, and CBD cream), and the company has been releasing new items on a regular basis for the last year.
Highline’s catalog now includes an entire collection of CBD gummies formulated to provide specific effects, fitness cream, a sports roller and a bath bomb.
We struggled to find much information about this company, but that could be because it is yet another newer player in the CBD industry. The company seems to still be working on its branding, and an interview with founder Chris Roth indicated that he was surprised about the difficulty of the marketing aspect of starting a CBD company.
We can overlook a newer company’s struggles with branding and marketing, but there are a couple of red flags with this company that indicate it may also be struggling to maintain a consistent quality as well.
Even though the company shares lab results on each of its product pages, a closer examination shows that every single product page displays the same lab results, and they do not seem to correspond to any specific item.
Additionally, Highline boasts a quality broad spectrum formula, but CBD is the only cannabinoid present in the oil (this is evident in both the results displayed on the website and in the results from our own third-party lab testing).
Broad spectrum formulas contain additional minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBC in order to create an entourage effect. While we would not jump into immediately trusting products from this company, it will be interesting to watch where it goes in the future as it gets its foundation established.

Chris Roth and Chris D’Alberti founded Highline Wellness in 2019, after Roth discovered how many of his friends and family were not enlightened about the nearly miraculous CBD.
Named after the NYC Highline because it’s about the most peaceful place in the city, the famous walkway reminds Roth of how CBD makes him feel. He was inspired to start a company that would help normalize CBD, helping the average consumer with a multitude of problems. D’Alberti brought his technical and marketing expertise and Highline Wellness was born.
Information about where Highline’s hemp source is buried in the FAQ and it is somewhat canned. The company states that its hemp comes from Colorado farms that grow their hemp organically and sustainably.
This company uses a CO2 extraction method, and claims it displays third party lab results on its website. While there is a link to lab results from every product page, those displayed are the same every time, and there is no specificity indicating what they are for.
Shipping and Returns
Highline Wellness offers free shipping Standard Mail for all orders over $35, and free Expedited Shipping for orders over $75. The company does not ship to Alaska or Hawaii; and they also do not ship internationally. They also make no statements about processing time.
We always order our CBD oils from our reviewed companies the same way any other customer would order them. We ordered our oil early in the week to avoid weekend delays, Highline shipped from the Pennsylvania fulfillment center the following day, and we got our package four days later.
Highline’s return policy is a bit ambiguous. In one place, it mentions that they want you to be satisfied with your product and you may request a refund within 30 days—which makes it sound like you are free to try it before you change your mind.
In another, the website states that you must get approval from the returns department, and that packages must be unopened and in their original condition in order to be eligible for a refund. It’s probably best to contact customer service before you make a purchase if you are unsure.
Highline Wellness’ Products
Highline Wellness offers just one kind of CBD oil, which appears to be the base for the rest of its products as well. The company claims that this oil is organic, but this statement is impossible to verify.
Though this is labeled as a broad spectrum oil, it does not contain any minor active cannabinoids that would contribute to an entourage effect, so it is closer to an isolate formula.
Highline Wellness CBD Oil ($35.00 – $130.00) – This CBD oil is blended with MCT oil, which aids absorption of CBD particles. One nice thing about CBD oil is that it offers the greatest flexibility in dosing. Highline Wellness offers a range of concentrations from as low as 250mg per 30mL bottle, to as high as 3000mg per 30mL bottle. Choose between citrus flavored and mint.
Generally, there are two kinds of CBD users. Those who love using oils, and those who hate it. If you are in the latter category, you do have some options. Capsules and gummies are the most common alternatives to oils.
While Highline Wellness does not carry capsules of any kind, it seems to really put its focus on gummies. The company offers several different kinds, infused with a variety of additional ingredients to enhance specific effects.
CBD Anytime Gummies ($35) – These are your basic CBD gummies with nothing but the CBD. Highline has chosen to go with your classic gummy bear style gummy here. Mixed fruit flavored and easy to carry with you wherever you go. These gummies are 10mg each, and they come in a bottle of 30.
CBD Night Gummies ($35) – We are not sure why these are the same price as the gummies with no additives, since they have the same amount of CBD. These gummies have 10mg of CBD each, along with 5mg of melatonin to help you drift off to dreamland and sleep through the night.
CBD Day Gummies ($35) – Highline Wellness helps you round out your day and your wellness routine, with these gummies infused with 10mg of CBD and 10mg of B12. Get that boost of energy you need to get through a long day. Found in bottles of 30.
CBD Immunity Gummies ($35) – We really dig the fact that Highline Wellness has put out a gummy that vegans can use. Vegan gummies are difficult to come by, and these are perfect for people who also want to get a little extra vitamin C and zinc in their lives.
Just like with all the other gummy options from this company, these ones contain 10mg of CBD, but they also have 50mg of vitamin C, and 5mg of zinc to help you stay healthy.
Topicals are an excellent way to target specific effects and problem spots. Research has shown that CBD can be beneficial for your skin. And when you massage CBD into sore muscles and joints , it can have a soothing, healing effect.
Take CBD oil or gummies to feel great from the inside out, use topicals if you want to feel the relief of CBD from the outside in. Highline offers several different options, and they are all natural and free of chemicals.
CBD Body Cream ($35 – $70) – Made with eucalyptus, rosemary, shea butter, aloe, and sunflower seed oil, this is your standard body lotion plus CBD. It is formulated to absorb quickly and be non-greasy. You can choose between a 2oz tube with 250mg of CBD, or a 4oz tube with 500mg of CBD.
CBD Fitness Cream ($35) – What would a CBD topical line be without a sports cream? This one is meant to help soothe tight, sore muscles or to massage into your neck in the morning for a great wake-up. This 1.7oz jar of cream contains 250mg of CBD and light cooling menthol.
CBD Relief Roller ($18) – This sweet little roller is designed to help you get through any tense moment. Made with coconut oil infused with 100mg of CBD plus lavender extract, peppermint extract, eucalyptus extract, and lemon extract, you simply pull it out and roll on your temples when you are feeling a headache coming on (or when the in-laws are coming).
When you find something that makes you feel good, of course you want to share it with your besties, even if they do have four legs and are covered in fur. CBD is good for your pets too, and can keep them feeling their best whether they are anxious, aging, or arthritic.
Highline Wellness makes dog treats for your pooch, but there are no pet-formulated oils from this company, so cat-lovers are out of luck.
CBD Dog Treats (sold out) – These treats sound good enough for humans to eat! They are made with applesauce, peanut butter and bananas, along with 5mg of CBD for Fido.
The website indicates that they are currently sold out, and there is no price listed. This could mean that Highline is revamping its pet products or taking these treats out of its inventory.
When we review a CBD company, we always send off a sample of oil to a third party lab so we have the opportunity to confirm for ourselves that what is on the label is also in the bottle. This gives us an unbiased way to rate the quality of the oil and the integrity of the company’s marketing.
We sampled Highline Wellness’ 250mg broad spectrum oil. As you can see, the amount of CBD was accurately labeled, but this is not a broad spectrum formula.
Any broad spectrum CBD oil should contain the cannabinoids here (CBG, CBC, CBN, etc.) on our list in addition to CBD. These minor actives contribute to the entourage effect broad spectrum CBD is famous for.
If they are not present, it does not reduce the quality of the isolated CBD, it will just provide a different effect than you would expect from a more robust oil.

The Highline Website is attractive and has some very good organizational elements to it. The company’s short list of products makes it very easy to find what you are looking for, and we like that the ingredients list is always right within the product description.
The site does not offer a lot of information about CBD or its uses, and it does not provide support for very many of the claims it makes about the quality of its products.
Additionally, the company makes direct claims about CBD reducing inflammation, boosting the immune system, and improving sleep, among other things. While we know that many of these statements have proven to be true, they are prohibited by the FDA.
The newness of the company shows through the disregard for advertising regulations and the sparsity of other content on the site. If you are looking to get educated about CBD, this is not the site for you.
We emailed Highline Wellness with questions about their products, and they responded in little over 24 hours. Their answers were very direct, although sparse when it comes to detail.
We’d imagine that some customers would appreciate that sort of short and sweet approach, although others might find it lacking. As a whole we’d say that Highline has pretty solid customer support.
Because Highline Wellness was established so recently (2019), it is difficult to tell if the company is just feeling its way through a complicated marketing landscape for the first time, or if it is simply negligent in its advertising efforts.
In addition to making statements that are prohibited by the FDA, the company claims that its CBD is a broad spectrum formula, when it is actually more of an isolate.
Transparency for Highline is very low and its CBD quality and prices are average. If the founders of this company really know their stuff, they will adjust as they get their footing and start improving some of these vital qualities.
However, this is a company you may want to watch from a distance for now. You can certainly find better products with better transparency, for better prices if you shop around.
